We are please to announce the safe arrival of Jack William Dando, who was born on July 10th weighing 6lb 13oz.
A big thank you for all the lovely cards, gifts and messages which we have received. We are all well and Jack is very much looking forward to meeting everyone soon!
All classes will finish for the summer holidays next week. The last day of term will be Monday July 8th. For the last day of term for each location please see the term dates page. Thank you for all your support this term.
Please note from September 2013 we will be introducing simplified standard fees across all lessons. All classes at all venues will be charged at £4.50 (first child/class), £2.75 (second child/class) and £2.00 (subsequent child/class) per week.
This simplified system will make invoicing easier especially for families who attend classes in more than one location. Fees will be the same for all our classes and all locations making pricing fairer for all.
At the end of term we sadly say goodbye and thank you to Jo who has been a fantastic help in our classes this year. Jo initially joined us to help out after Tasha's car accident and has been a fantastic help all year! We wish Jo all the best for her new job at Addenbrookes. Jo has really enjoyed working with all the classes and has kindly agreed to return to help us with events and shows etc so we will still see her!
We also thank and say goodbye to our Secretary Sheila who is also leaving us at the end of term. Thank you for taking all the paperwork off my hands!!

Great Yeldham Summer Fayre 2013
We have also been invited to dance at Great Yeldham Summer Fayre on Saturday July 13th. I unfortunately cannot attend this as I am involved with another event on the same day.
However a few parents from the Pre-Primary Class (3:45-4:30pm) and the Grade 1 class (4:30-5:30pm) with the help of Kealey Saunders (who is one of the Great Yeldham Fayre organisers) have kindly offered to oversee the children dancing if they would like to attend. I would therefore like to invite children from these two classes to take part if they would like to. Parents will need to please stay with their own children whilst waiting to perform as I will not be there.
Further details will follow.
Next year we will all do this one too!
Linton Heights Summer Fair

Unfortunately I am unable to attend this event so Stacey will be taking the Street Dance and Cheerleading classes only. Next year we will hopefully all go and all classes can attend.
A MASSIVE WELL DONE to everyone who took exams at the weekend! You were super!!!
The exams went really well and everyone seemed to enjoy it!
Thank you to all the dancers for your hard work and efforts leading up to the exams. Also a big thank you to all parents for your extra time and support for the exams. Although I do not know any specific marks I received some lovely general feedback from the examiners at tahe end of each day. Excellent!
Results usually take around 6 weeks, this depends on how quickly individual examiners return paperwork to the ISTD. Sometimes it can be really quick and others not so. This is however the busiest time of year for exams approaching the end of the school year so may unfortunately take longer. I hope to receive all results before we breakup for the summer holidays.
As soon as I have results I will let you know!!!
If anyone has any photos of their children before they went into the exams and would like them to go on our website gallery please forward them to me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
